Create your TBit in a conversation: your WhatsApp assistant, step by step

Creating it is a conversation

Your customers write to you at all hours: how much does it cost, do you deliver, what time do you open. And you almost always answer the same thing, between one sale and the next. TBit is your assistant: it handles things for you on WhatsApp, with what it knows about your business.

Creating it isn't filling out a form. You tell it about your business in the chat, in your own words, and TBit puts together the rest. In this guide you see each step, from "I want to create my TBit" to the list of what's next.

TBit answers for you on WhatsApp, with what it knows about your business. On the left, an empty form; on the right, the conversation: What's your business called?, Pumamaqui Florería, What do you do?
Instead of a form, a conversation.

The full walkthrough, with TBit's real screens. Below you have every step in writing.

Create your TBit in a conversation: your WhatsApp assistant, step by step

The example: a flower shop in Quito

We follow Pumamaqui Florería, in La Floresta, Quito: rose bouquets, birthday arrangements and wedding flowers, with home delivery. Daniela is the owner and Mateo helps her serve customers. They don't have a TBit yet. Pumamaqui is a demo account with sample data.

Today's example: Pumamaqui, a flower shop in La Floresta, Quito. Daniela, the owner, and Mateo, who helps her serve customers. Still no TBit.
Pumamaqui Florería, the sample account.

It's four steps

  1. You tell it about your business, in the chat and in your own words.

  2. You review the card with what it understood.

  3. You confirm it by holding the button.

  4. Your assistant is born, with an 8-day trial and its instructions already written.

Creating it takes four steps: 1, tell it about your business, in your own words, over chat; 2, review the card with what it understood; 3, hold the button to create it; 4, your TBit is born, with an 8-day trial and its instructions written.
The four steps to create your TBit.

Until you connect your WhatsApp, your customers don't get anything. So you can create it calmly, test it and connect your line later.

Without your WhatsApp, your customers don't get anything: create it calmly, test it and connect your WhatsApp later.
First you create it and test it; your WhatsApp comes later.

1. Tell it about your business

Go to platform.tbit.app. If you don't have an account yet, you create one right there.

Since you don't have a TBit yet, the first screen offers to start there: "Tell me what your business is about and we'll build your TBit right here so it can answer for you." Tap I want to create my TBit, or type it.

TBit's first screen on an account with no TBits: "Tell me what your business is about and we'll build your TBit right here so it can answer for you," and above the text box, the suggestion I want to create my TBit.
Tap I want to create my TBit, or type it.

TBit lets you know it's going to ask you for a few details, and asks one at a time:

  1. The name of your business, or whatever you want to call your TBit. Daniela types Pumamaqui Florería.

  2. What type of business it is, in your own words. Answer the way you'd tell someone new: what you sell, the prices, the deliveries. Daniela: "Rose bouquets from 25 dollars, birthday arrangements and wedding flowers. We deliver to homes all over Quito." With that, TBit understands it's a flower shop.

  3. Your phone, with the country code. It's to contact you: it's not the line that will answer your customers, and you don't get any messages now.

  4. Opening hours. Daniela: Monday to Saturday, 9 in the morning to 7 at night; Sundays, only by order.

  5. How many people serve customers. Daniela: there are two of us, Mateo and me, and she adds that about three hundred people message them each month.

After you tap I want to create my TBit, TBit replies: "I'm going to ask you for four key pieces of information and a couple of optional details; at the end I'll leave your TBit ready. First, what's your business called, or what do you want to call your TBit?"
TBit tells you what it's going to ask, and starts with the name.
Daniela describes her business in her own words: rose bouquets from 25 dollars, arrangements for birthdays and flowers for weddings, with delivery throughout Quito. TBit sums it up and asks for her phone number with country code, to contact her, clarifying that it's not the WhatsApp line she'll connect later.
Answer the way anyone would: with what you sell, your prices and your deliveries.
Daniela gives her cell number with Ecuador's country code. Next to it, the note Your phone isn't the line: it's to contact you; the WhatsApp line gets connected later.
Your phone is to contact you; the line gets connected later.
Daniela gives her hours, Monday to Saturday from 9 in the morning to 7 at night and Sundays only by order. TBit asks how many people serve customers, and Daniela writes: there are two of us, Mateo and me; about three hundred people message us each month.
Your hours and how many people serve customers.

2. Review the card and create it

With that, TBit shows you the Create a new TBit card with everything it understood: name, industry, your phone, description, hours, language, preferred channel, team size and conversations per month.

The Create a new TBit card: Name, Pumamaqui Florería; Industry, flower shop with rose bouquets, arrangements for birthdays and flowers for weddings; Your phone; Description; Hours, Monday to Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sundays only by order; Language, Spanish; Preferred channel, WhatsApp; Team size, 2; Conversations per month, 300. Below, the notice that it's born with its 8-day trial and the buttons Hold to create TBit and Discard.
The card with everything it understood.

Review it calmly. If something doesn't add up, tell it in the chat and it puts it together again.

To create it, press and hold the Hold to create TBit button. That way nobody creates an assistant by accident with a single tap. If you'd rather not continue, tap Discard.

The Hold to create TBit button fills up while Daniela presses and holds it.
It's created by holding the button, not with a tap.

Every step, live

While it's being created, the bar advances with each real stage. Your TBit:

  • Writes how it will serve your customers.

  • Learns to read the tone of each message.

  • Sets what it handles on its own and when it calls you.

  • Chooses what data to capture from each customer.

  • Start your 8-day trial and get everything ready to connect your line.

Below the card, the creation bar moves forward with the stage "Writing how it will serve your customers...". Next to it, the panel Every step live: the bar moves forward with each real stage: how it serves, the tone, when it calls you and what data it saves.
You see every stage of creation as it happens.

3. Your TBit was born

When it finishes, the celebration appears: Your TBit was born!, with its name and the next step: "The next thing is to connect its WhatsApp so it starts serving your customers". Tap to continue.

The celebration on a purple background with confetti: the TBit mascot, Your TBit was born!, Pumamaqui Florería, and below: The next thing is to connect its WhatsApp so it starts serving your customers.
Your TBit was born!

Your TBit is born with 8 trial days and 350 energy, no card needed. Every reply your TBit gives a customer uses 1 energy. Plans are on pricing.

4. Where do I go next?

The page opens in a new thread, already with your assistant's menu on the left (Operate, Grow, Your AI and Business) and its dashboard on the right.

A new thread after creating the TBit: on the left, the menu with Operate (Inbox, Archived, Funnel, Calendar, Operations, Tasks), Grow, Your AI and Business; in the center, the suggestions where do I go next?, how is my account doing?, how are sales going this week? and what conversations did I have today?; on the right, the dashboard with the agent's Conversations and Funnels.
The new thread, with your assistant's menu and dashboard.

If you don't know where to go next, ask it: tap where do I go next?. TBit checks how your account is doing and puts together the Where to go next list:

  1. Your catalog: upload your products and services, with their prices, so your assistant shows real options. See how to sell your catalog.

  2. Your line: tap Connect WhatsApp. First, check that your line has a card on Meta and follow how to connect your WhatsApp to TBit.

  3. Talk to it like a customer: tap Test and write to it like a customer would. See how to test it and fix it.

The answer to where do I go next?: the most important thing is to upload the catalog, then connect WhatsApp and test how it would reply to a customer. Below, the Where to go next card for Pumamaqui Florería: Your catalog, 0 products uploaded; Your line, not connected, with the Connect WhatsApp button; Talk to it like a customer, with the Test button; Your services, 0 services uploaded.
Your list: upload the catalog, connect your WhatsApp and test.

The list is put together with what happened today in your account every time you open it, so you can ask again whenever you want.

Three tips

  1. Tell it about your business in your own words, like you would tell someone new.

  2. Check the card before creating.

  3. Test your assistant before connecting your WhatsApp.

Three tips: 1, tell it about your business in your own words; 2, review the card before creating; 3, test your assistant before connecting your WhatsApp.
