How to connect

ChatGPT

  1. In Settings > Security, turn on Developer mode (needed while the TBit plugin lands in the directory).
  2. Go to Settings > Plugins, press + to create a new plugin and paste the server URL.
  3. Press Create and sign in with your TBit account.

Claude

  1. In claude.ai open Settings > Connectors.
  2. Add a custom connector with the server URL.
  3. Press Connect and sign in with your TBit account.

Claude Code

  1. In your terminal run: claude mcp add --transport http tbit https://api.tbit.app/mcp
  2. Type /mcp and authorize with your TBit account.

Cursor

  1. In Settings > MCP add a new server with the server URL.
  2. When the browser opens, authorize with your TBit account.

Frequently asked questions

What is the TBit MCP server?

It is TBit's Model Context Protocol server, available at https://api.tbit.app/mcp. It lets ChatGPT, Claude or any MCP-compatible assistant read, configure and train your TBit WhatsApp and Instagram agents, always with your authorization.

How do I connect ChatGPT to TBit?

First turn on Developer mode in Settings > Security (ChatGPT requires it for plugins not yet in its directory). Then go to Settings > Plugins, create a new plugin with the URL https://api.tbit.app/mcp and press Create. The TBit login opens, you sign in and authorize the permissions. Once the TBit plugin is published in the ChatGPT directory you will be able to install it directly, no developer mode needed.

Do I need to copy a token?

No. The connection uses OAuth: paste the URL, sign in with your TBit account and authorize. Manual tokens exist only as an advanced option for custom integrations.

Is it secure?

Yes. Your assistant only accesses what your role allows: reading with any role and training only on agents where you are admin. Sensitive prompt changes land as drafts you approve in the app, and you can revoke the connection anytime.

How much does it cost?

Nothing extra. The MCP server is included with your TBit account on every plan.

Does it work with Cursor, VS Code or other MCP clients?

Yes. Any MCP client with HTTP transport can connect: Cursor, Claude Code, VS Code, Windsurf and whatever comes next. The URL is the same for all of them.
