Certain features of the TBit Platform (specifically, TBit Job Apply) access Google API Services. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.6. Google API Services — Limited Use Disclosure
6.1 Scopes and Purposes
We request the following Google OAuth scopes:
- gmail.compose — Used to send job application emails on behalf of the user and create email drafts for review before sending.
- gmail.readonly — Used solely to detect replies from employers by reading email metadata (sender, subject, date). This allows us to update the status of job applications.
6.2 What We Do
- Send emails on behalf of the user to submit job applications.
- Create drafts in the user's Gmail account for manual review (when auto-send is disabled).
- Read email metadata (sender, subject, date) to detect employer replies and update application status.
6.3 What We Do NOT Do
- We do NOT read the full body/content of incoming emails.
- We do NOT share, sell, or transfer Google user data to third parties.
- We do NOT use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, or profiling purposes.
- We do NOT allow humans to read your Google data except where: (a) you provide explicit consent, (b) it is necessary for security purposes (e.g., investigating abuse), or (c) it is required by law.
6.4 AI Processing Boundaries
Our AI models process only the user's CV text and job posting details to generate personalized application emails. Gmail data (email content, metadata, contacts) is never sent to AI models. The AI only receives information that the user has explicitly provided through the Platform (CV, profile, job preferences).
6.5 Token Storage
OAuth tokens obtained from Google are stored encrypted in our database. Tokens are used only for the authorized purposes described above and are automatically invalidated when the user revokes access.
6.6 Revoking Access
You can revoke TBit's access to your Google account at any time by visiting https://myaccount.google.com/permissions and removing TBit from the list of authorized applications. Revoking access will disable the TBit Job Apply feature.
6.7 Compliance
TBit's use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We limit our use of Google user data to providing and improving the user-facing features described in this section.
